Why Kintella Care?
We are a Danish start-up company, created based on the founders' own experiences as relatives of people who needed support in their everyday lives.
As relatives, we experienced how complex cooperation can be when families and staff in the care sector need to coordinate, communicate and share important knowledge about a person's life and needs.
What do we want to achieve with Kintella Care?
At Kintella, we want to make everyday life more manageable so that families and staff can spend their time on what really matters. Not only for those involved in the care and healthcare, but anyone who needs to bring everyday tasks and knowledge together in one place — and share it with others.
Who are we?
As founders, we each bring more than 20 years of experience as consultants and managers within digitalisation, communication, business development, and IT system implementation.
It's about more than us
From the very beginning, we have aimed to build partnerships with municipalities, hospitals, educational institutions, research organizations, and other companies to test, develop, and document how we and our solution create value.
Of course, we aim to create value for our users and customers, but also more broadly, by supporting important societal goals and addressing key challenges.

2025
Impressive results from partnership between Allerød Municipality, Nordic Health Lab and Kintella
Allerød Municipality and Mimosen nursing home have completed a project with Kintella Care. The results show: over 50% time savings on administrative tasks and 90% of relatives experience better communication.
2025
Strong partnership with Rigshospitalet Copenhagen University Hospital , five patient organisations, Copenhagen University, and the Innovation Fund Denmark.
Kintella participates in IPARD, a public-private innovation project focused on improving the care pathways for citizens with chronic diseases at both regional and municipal levels. The project brings together Rigshospitalet, five patient organisations, the University of Copenhagen, the Innovation Fund and Kintella.
2025
Kintella becomes ISO27001 and D-mark compliant
IT security and data ethics are key elements of our work. Kintella reviews all policies, processes and controls annually to ensure high data security. In autumn 2025, we have had a special focus on becoming ISO27001-compliant and achieving the D-mark.

Another intern from Zealand – Zealand Business Academy completes programme at Kintella
We collaborate regularly with Zealand business academy on internships and thesis projects. To date, we have mainly had computer science students who have actively contributed to the development of our solution.
2024
Kintella accepted into international accelerator programme
Leap Forward has selected Kintella for its international accelerator programme for Danish entrepreneurs with global potential. The programme is supported by the Danish Industry Foundation and has a particular focus on strengthening diversity and innovation in Danish business.
2023
Kintella is selected by Innofounder and a partnership agreement is established
Kintella has been selected for Innofounder and will work with them to qualify and accelerate the development of our entrepreneurial idea within welfare and health technology.
2022
Integrations with municipal care and health systems are in place
Innobooster has awarded funding to Kintella to develop integrations for municipal care and health systems. This work reinforces our vision of a coherent digital solution for municipalities, citizens, and relatives.
2021
Local Government Denmark (KL) and Roskilde Municipality select promising start-up idea.
Kintella and Roskilde Municipality have received funding from Local Government Denmark´s (KL) welfare technology fund to launch a project on digital support for citizens and employees.
Kintella and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
Kintella actively contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals through digital innovation that promotes health, well-being and equality.
We enhance well-being and make it easier for everyone — across all age groups and including people with chronic conditions — to access support in their everyday lives.
We promote and support care work to bridge gender and generational gaps.
We ensure access to modern information and communication technology through our digital platform.
